When it comes to determining what formed you into the person you are and what could play a factor in who you are becoming you have to take the time to reflect and ask questions.
Some of the questions you ask will lead you to memories of deep joy. Others will lead you to places of sorrow.
It will be tempting to only ask positive questions. While those will certainly reveal things that formed you, it is often the hard questions that will create healing and enable you to be free from the past.
As you trust the Holy Spirit to do His healing work you will become free of the past and be better equipped to follow Jesus into the future He has planned for you!
Below you will find five sections of ten questions each. Take your time as you reflect on each question and feel free to skip questions that may cause too much pain at this moment.
Allow yourself to feel the emotions it brings up and be sure to discuss them with a healthy spiritual community.
Ultimately, the goal is to find places in your past that need to be brought into the light so that they can be healed through God as you journey toward who He is forming you into.
You can download the questions to print or save for later down below.
